We all experience many things in life where we may have been let down, betrayed, lacked confidence, and hurt. Our own conditioning has a huge influence on how we perceive not only others but our self-perception as well. As we move through the healing process of life, it is important to take some time to do a “Spiritual Point of reference check” on ourselves.
This is when we bring the awareness back to ourselves and see how much we have grown and changed. Imagine yourself presented with those same scenarios now. See how differently you would handle them compared with what you went through to get to this place in yourself.
People that you once thought were better than you, or you admired, may now appear as insignificant to you.
Once you realize that you are now stronger, and have a very different attitude of outlook towards things, you will see it is OK and safe to again move forward and experience your next set of lessons.
In theory your lessons will obviously vary from person to person, but the goal is for the lessons to become less and less challenging to you and you progress forward towards the light of your Spiritual Home. And this home is within you, and it is there for you to find peace, love and a feeling of being connected to all.
